My approach to forestry begins with an assumption of complexity and a desire to consider all aspects touched by our interaction with forests–ecological function, landowner objectives, and societal needs and values. A central value I bring to my work is integrity grown from honest wrestling. The content and style of my work is practical, boots firmly on the ground. Operating from strongly held stewardship values, I help landowners achieve their objectives and organizations deliver on their project goals.
